Can I trust you ?
You can trust us, as we have been trading as Nova Swimwear for over two decades. We have a complete factory with a retail shop attached on the Gold Coast. Not one of these over-night online stores - we are not one of those over-night swimwear online stores.
What size am I ?
At Nova we try to keep our sizes as close to the Australian clothing sizes as possible. Which would mean that your standard size would be a comfortable firm fit which is recommended for swimming garments. Fitting does come down a personal choice whether you prefer a firm fitting garment or softer fit for more comfort.
What are Nova sizes ?
For
Females, we go from Girls 6 to Girls 14 and Ladies 8 to Ladies 20.
For
Males, we go from Boys 6 to Boys 14 and Mens 14 to Mens 24.
Boys 16 is equivalent to Mens 14.
Can I exchange garments ?
Yes you can return your garments, provided that the garment is still in NEW condition and all swing tags are still attached. All garments must be returned within 14 days of purchase. All postage for exchanging garments will be paid by customer. We do not structure possible extra freight charges into our garments to keep the prices as low as possible.
How fast can I receive my garments ?
From our online swimwear shop:
Payment via PayPal - Shipped the same day when ordered before 2:00pm QLD time.
Payment via Money Order - Shipped the same day as the money order arrives.
Payment via Cheque - Can take upto two weeks or until cleared before garments are shipped.
Payment via Direct Deposit - Shipped the day the amount is cleared.
On the off chance that we do not have stock of your request from our online swimwear shop, one of our friendly staff will contact you.
For swimwear that is made to order (Schools, Club & SLSC)...
It will depend on time of year, between August and January delivery can be up to six weeks. As this is our busiest time of the swimming season. Other times orders will be completed within two/three weeks. For printed garments an extra one/two weeks can be added to these times.
How do you send me the garments ?
All retail orders, the garments are sent via Registered Post through Australia Post. You will have to sign for the parcel at your local post office. For orders under 500grams, they will be sent Express Registered, so you will receive your order the next day if you're in a metro area and two days if you're outside.
Most School and Club orders will be sent via Fastway or Australia Post
Are the Aquaspeed Elite chlorine resistant ?
No they are not. They are racing garments only, made from a nylon/elastane blend. Aquaspeed Elite is a fabricated material that has a longer life than previous skins. Please observe washing instructions to get a long life from the garment.
Are the Aquaskins chlorine resistant ?
No they are not. They are racing garments only, made from a polyester/elastane blend. Please observe washing instructions to get a long life from the garment.
Do you have card facilities at your Factory Outlet ?
Unfortunatly we do not have any card facilities at our Factory Outlet, only Cash. They're a number of all card ATM's close by.
Are you open on Saturdays ?
Our trading hours are from 8:00am til 4:00pm. Monday to Friday. After hours are by appointment only. No weekend trading. But you can check out our huge range of swimwear online any time of the week!
Can you ship internationally ?
Yes we ship to our international customers. Please use the following link to add extra postage to your order.
The garment needs repair, can you fix it ?
We at Nova Swimwear pride ourselves on our high standards and quality control, but if you have found a fault with a garment we would be more than happy to correct the fault. Whether to replace or repair the garment is our decision. All claims must be made within 14 days, with proof of purchase date.
